Youth from Newcasle singing

Youth Visit from the Pentecostal Church of Newcastle.

It was a great time of rejoicing and worshiping the LORD Jesus when the Newcastle youth came to Cairns. This was a special time of fellowship and sharing as we experienced the different ministries the young Saints brought with them. The Newcastle youth arrived in Cairns on the Wednesday. That night we had a lovely meeting with Bro Rob (Newcastle Youth leader) and Bro Trevor bringing a message from the Word of God. On Thursday the youth experienced some of the beauty of Far-North Queensland in seeing the Daintree and Mossman Gorge. On Friday we visited lovely Kuranda, and in the evening the youth had fellowship and worship by a beach fire at Yorkeys Knob.

Saturday was time spent down at the Esplanarde getting to know these lovely people better. It was a blessing to see such young people dedicated to serving the Lord and willing to follow his Word. In the evening the church had a youth service where we where blessed with what God had laid on their hearts and a great time of worship and fellowship.

The youth were all a blessing to the Cains congregation on Sunday with there items and testimonies. Bro Max, the Pastor of the Newcastle church, brought a moving message on Appreciating what we are in Christ.
The Cairns youth went out to the Great Barrier Reef on Monday with the Newcastle youth and came back with exciting stories of their experiences. They all left on Monday afternoon and I believe they where happy to get home and have a rest. It was a blessing to see young people from different areas working together for the greater good of the word. Cairns Church was truly blessed by the ministering of all who came and look forward to another time of similar fellowship in the future.
