Bros Trevor & Lloyd hold up the new Banner

It is always a privilege to visit with the church in Cairns, Queensland.

We were able to visit with them earlier in the year, and had wonderful services and a great time of fellowship. Brother Carver ministered on the Sunday and at mid week meetings. We also farewelled a fine family who had come from Newcastle to assist the church for a year.

We were pleased to install Brother Trevor Elliott as the new pastor of this church. He and his family (see photo on this page) have labored faithfully in this church for many years. Some of the church joined us at a Family Camp in Townsville and were blessed with good fellowship, encouraging preaching and teaching and a fine Christian spirit from all.

7 Sept 2008 - Andrea's surgery is a success. Richard & Andrea will be returning to PNG shortly

26 August 2008 - Andrea is going for Thyroid Surgery to have her thyroid removed on the 28th August in the morning.

Sep 2008 - Richard & Andrea returning to PNG in the latter half of the month

Aug 28th 2008 - Andrea undergoes surgery to remove her Thyroid Gland. Operation is a success

Jul-Aug 2008 - Richard & Andrea are in Australia for medical attention for Andrea. They should return to PNG in early September.
