We've started meeting in a hall

In November 2005 we began our weekly meetings in a school hall in Goonellabah. This proves to be a step forward as we are now too many for a house meeting. Sunday School is able to have their two classes outside in pleasant surroundings while the main service proceeds.

In late November another family joined us. In December the Sunday School presented a very touching mimed play called “The Small One”. The children enjoyed this as well as the adults who were the audience. Afterwards we had a Christmas morning tea and fellowship.

We look forward to the new year with some additional members joining us from overseas as well as locally. Bible teaching on block subjects is planned and an additional Sunday School class will begin. Our building plans have seen many set backs but it now seems we can look at the building being underway in the early part of the new year.

7 Sept 2008 - Andrea's surgery is a success. Richard & Andrea will be returning to PNG shortly

26 August 2008 - Andrea is going for Thyroid Surgery to have her thyroid removed on the 28th August in the morning.

Sep 2008 - Richard & Andrea returning to PNG in the latter half of the month

Aug 28th 2008 - Andrea undergoes surgery to remove her Thyroid Gland. Operation is a success

Jul-Aug 2008 - Richard & Andrea are in Australia for medical attention for Andrea. They should return to PNG in early September.
