Three new members coming to church

Our church year has begun with new faces and some exciting plans. We are joined by some ladies from our church in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, who have come to study at the Southern Cross university. Their families will join them in a few months time.

Our Sunday School classes have begun again with the Juniors studying some great foundational truths and learning to use their Bibles. These skills will establish them in God’s word. The Primary class is looking at some Kings and Queens in the Old Testament. We now have a Nursery class and they are just enjoying being part of the Sunday School programme!

In February we had as special guests our friends Dennis and Sue Jacobsen, who pastor the church in Townsville. These folk have sent many labourers into the harvest through their ministry. Recently both have been involved in teaching and ministry in Papua New Guinea , assisting us in a great way by these teaching seminars. This time it was Truth and Life’s trun to have them as guests and we had a good morning of worship, testimony and preaching with the Jacobsens.
