Bible School classes have started

Bible school classes have been attended and enjoyed by all as we covered the interesting topic of the Tabernacle. Included with this was a number of interesting photos and diagrams projected from the computer, some weeks being spent on the Candlestick, its capture to Rome and its engraving on the Arch of Titus. Our other class each Bible Study evening has focused on the Oneness of God. Many interesting questions and answers have come from this study, which although done briefly this time, will be covered again in a deeper way later this year.

Sunday School presented a lovely Easter play which involved all the children. They performed this for the parents. On Mothers Day the children presented gifts to each lady in the church and told us what their mother meant to them.

The Primary class is now finishing their study on Kings and Queens in the Old Testament and they have made a small book telling something of each person in the stories studied. Junior Youth are continuing with their foundational studies on Creation and are learning a lot. We are happy to welcome some new members to the Junior youth class!

The church hosted a BBQ during May, taking advantage of the lovely mild warm weather. We were welcoming a new family from Papua New Guinea at this time also. It was a good time of fellowship enjoyed by all who attended as well as some visitors. Many enjoyed playing basketball, the younger ones played hard on the playground equipment and others took opportunity to sit and enjoy the sun!

26 August 2008 - Andrea is going for Thyroid Surgery to have her thyroid removed on the 28th August in the morning.

Sep 2008 - Richard & Andrea returning to PNG in the latter half of the month

Aug 28th 2008 - Andrea undergoes surgery to remove her Thyroid Gland. Operation is a success

Jul-Aug 2008 - Richard & Andrea are in Australia for medical attention for Andrea. They should return to PNG in early September.
