Sunday Service in our new hall

Church services and Bible School have continued here in Lismore. We have moved out of the school hall and into a Senior Citizen's centre, which is much more appropriate and inviting. Youth services have been well attended and enjoyed by all. Our Bible School sessions over many weeks have covered the foundational subject of Genesis and we have used the great DVD’s of Ken Hams “Answers in Genesis” in 12 lessons.

Some members of the church were privileged to attend a Family Camp in North Queensland. These two days and three nights were a special time of encouragement and fellowship. We were happy see 6 people baptised in Jesus name in the river at the campground.

In June we were happy to see our missionary Aimer family from this church return from Papua New Guinea. Although here for his wife’s medical treatment, we were glad to have Richard and family back in the local church to preach, sing and show us photos of the current work he is doing in PNG.

Aug 28th 2008 - Andrea undergoes surgery to remove her Thyroid Gland. Operation is a success

Jul-Aug 2008 - Richard & Andrea are in Australia for medical attention for Andrea. They should return to PNG in early September.
