AIMing for Papua New Guinea
Uploaded 15 May 2007
Sister Derfus is from Appleton, Wisconsin. She is a short-term AIM (Associates In Missions) worker and was in Papua New Guinea during Jan-Feb 2007. She writes her thoughts regarding AIMing in Papua New Guinea...
AIMING FOR PAPUA NEW GUINEA
My, my! Don’t be afraid to go. It is a chance of a life time to see the wonderful work going on in Goroka and all of Papua New Guinea. You will experience a “step back” in time as you work with these wonderful saints.
They are very appreciative of your commitment to be involved in God’s Work. I was in Goroka with Rev. & Mrs. Peter Gration (and family) in 2007 and couldn’t have felt more welcome. They have a tremendous burden for the people of Papua New Guinea and an extra pair of hands is very welcome.
The facilities you will be staying in are very comfortable and I can promise you, you’ll never regret a missions trip to Papua New Guinea!
- Rev. J. Derfus, short-term AIM worker
