Even though it was our first time to go into this region, God poured out a great blessing throughout the Conference. We had 165 new souls in attendance, with 343 youth members, bringing the total attendance to 508. Many of our members stayed with family and friends, and brought them along to the Conference. 14 people were baptized in Jesus’ name, and 15 were filled with the Holy Spirit, and another 9 were refilled. We give God thanks! There was great excitement afterward amongst the small church in Madang for this foothold in the community. Some people from surrounding Islands have also requested visits from Pastor Tufe, and we are expecting wonderful things to happen in this area. Please pray for the church in Madang. The Youth Members returned to their homes and districts, most coming 4-6 hours away from the Highlands or from Lae, very excited and thrilled to be part of the outreach effort in Madang. We believe great things are in store for the Youth of PNG!
