This is a special and exciting report we are sending out to everyone who loves the work of God in Papua New Guinea. A wonderful thing has swept over the church here; something which has been building over the last few years, and has culminated in the beginning of a new day for the faithful saints of Papua New Guinea.

The PNG Church has embarked on a project to expand their Bible School from a single classroom to a major complex, including dormitories, dining, classrooms, and teachers' residences. The church is growing, and our facilities need to grow to keep up!

To assist in making this a reality, the church in PNG began a national fundraiser, called "National Thanksgiving Day" to generate funds. This, combined with the fundraising efforts of the Grations during their Deputation travel, has enabled us to begin the first stage of the Bible School development.

What is so amazing is to see the response from the saints of Papua New Guinea. In order to keep to the point, I'll give links instead of repeating the articles. I'm sure that you will immensely enjoy reading further about:

Last year we raised almost K62,500 from within PNG (about US$24,000), not including giving from overseas. This year, just from PNG alone, we have already surpassed K77,000 (almost US$30,000), with more yet to come in. Our target for this year is to go past the K100,000 mark, which is achievable with your help.

The main purpose of this email is to ask for your help - PNG needs you! Can you help us achieve our goal of K100,000 (US$40,000)? The saints of PNG are working so hard to help themselves... that in itself is commendable. They may not have much in the way of material wealth, but they have hearts of gold.

Finding gold hidden deep in the interior of Papua New Guinea...

The giant global mining companies from all over the world are rushing in to make huge investments in Papua New Guinea - because some of the world's largest deposit of gold and natural gas have been discovered here. But there is great quantities of gold still yet to be discovered - hidden in the field of PNG, in the hearts of 7 million unreached souls.

Matthew 13:44 - "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which, when a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field."

Can you make an investment in souls in PNG? Can you be a part of the worldwide effort to reach the precious people that make up this very diverse country? Every dollar you give will be put toward the Bible School project. The whole church here in PNG knows that Bible School is the key to the future - and so your investment is an important one, with results starting now and continuing into eternity.

We have about US$10,000 to go until we reach our goal of K100,000. Can you help us? PNG NEEDS YOU!
