Mission: New Guinea is a brief history of the Richard Carver family and of the Australian Overseas Missions effort to reach into the primitive country of Papua New Guinea.

Detailing the missions endeavours from 1973 to 1987, the film shows footage from the starting of the work through to the mighty revival which swept the country, and the efforts of the UPC of Australia’s departments in assisting the missions work.

Shown at the 50th Anniversary Conference of the Australian United Pentecostal Church in Queanbeyan, Australia, January 2002.

7 Sept 2008 - Andrea's surgery is a success. Richard & Andrea will be returning to PNG shortly

26 August 2008 - Andrea is going for Thyroid Surgery to have her thyroid removed on the 28th August in the morning.

Sep 2008 - Richard & Andrea returning to PNG in the latter half of the month

Aug 28th 2008 - Andrea undergoes surgery to remove her Thyroid Gland. Operation is a success

Jul-Aug 2008 - Richard & Andrea are in Australia for medical attention for Andrea. They should return to PNG in early September.
